The Oklahoma Highway Patrol identified a man Tuesday who was listed in critical condition Monday afternoon after a one-vehicle accident west of Ringwood.
According to an OHP report, Byfelix J. Sasnett, 59, of Wagoner, was 4.5 miles west of Ringwood on U.S. 412 in a 2002 Ford F-150 when a driver’s side rear tire blew out. Sasnett over corrected, went into a broad slide and rolled one and a half times before the pickup came to a rest on its roof.
The accident happened at 2:45 p.m., and Sasnett was pinned in the vehicle for 30 minutes, according to the report. Sasnett was wearing a seat belt.
Sasnett was transported by Major County EMS to Integris Bass Baptist Health Center in Enid with head, trunk, arm and leg injuries.
