Timberlake High School’s academic team is raising funds to travel to the National Academic Championship June 12-14.
The school’s academic team was named Class A state runner-up which qualified them to compete in the national championship. It will cost the team about $3,000 for the trip.
Timberlake academic team members include Andrew Crain, Drew Fischer, Dana Burchfiel, John Decker, Natalie Crain, Sage Powers, Hannah Berg, Jessica Thorp, Stacey Bailey and Levi Sanders.
The team is selling salsa and queso to raise money and also will accept donations from community organizations, businesses and individuals.
