ENID — Garfield County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information about the theft of more than $10,000 in equipment and implements in the southwest corner of the county.

Undersheriff Jerry Niles said deputies took a report Wednesday of a theft that occurred sometime between 4 p.m. Tuesday and 7 a.m. Wednesday in the 10000 block of South Boomer.

Niles said a storage container had its lock cut and items taken included a Dixie Chopper and Yamaha Rhino, as well as other tools and implements.

The 2010 black and silver zero-turn radius Dixie Chopper has a 50-inch mowing deck and is valued at $7,500. The 2005 Yamaha Rhino is green with black trim and valued at $5,000.

Niles said deputies are seeking more than one suspect in the theft, and the thieves left the area southbound in a vehicle.

Anyone having information that will lead to an arrest or prosecution is asked to call Garfield County Crime Stoppers at 233-6233 or Garfield County Sheriff’s Office at 237-0244.
