ENID — A 52-year-old Waukomis man was charged Wednesday in Garfield County District Court with felony possession of child pornography.
Dennis Lyan Koch Sr. was arrested Thursday evening by Waukomis Police following an interview at Enid Police Department, Waukomis Chief Phil Ott said.
Ott said he was contacted by Enid Police Department’s Internet Crimes Against Children unit, which had received information from another ICAC unit identifying Koch’s IP address as having downloaded child porn.
Ott said he was contacted Thursday afternoon and obtained a search warrant for Koch’s home. He said officers seized Koch’s computer, which contained more than 100 pornographic images.
“It was sickening, what we found,” Ott said.
Koch was interviewed by Ott at EPD. Ott was assisted by detectives Bryan Hart, Tim Doyle and Greg Gordon with EPD.
Koch was arrested following the interview and booked into Garfield County Detention Facility. Ott said the investigation of what is contained on Koch’s computer is ongoing.
He is being held in lieu of $50,000.
