ENID, Okla. —
An Enid woman was taken to the hospital after a car backed up and struck her Monday in the parking lot at Our Daily Bread.
Enid Police Department Sgt. Bryan Hart said Cynthia L. Tharp, 42, of Enid, was backing a 2003 Mercedes out of a parking space just before noon when she struck Ronna L. Stanley, 65, of Enid.
Hart said Stanley was taken by Life EMS to St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center with apparent head, trunk and leg injuries. Stanley’s injuries were not incapacitating, Hart said.
Tharp was cited for inattentive driving.
