ENID, Okla. —
Garfield County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in solving a pair of burglaries.
One of the burglaries occurred sometime between Jan. 29-30 in the 7400 block of West Carrier Road. A gray Lincoln-brand welder, valued at about $1,500, was taken.
The second burglary occurred sometime between Saturday and Monday in the 17400 block of East Phillips.
A 16-foot tandem-axle black trailer with a John Deere 60-kW generator and 300-gallon diesel fuel tank was taken from the side of the road at an oil field site.
Sheriff Jerry Niles said the trailer and items were valued at about $27,0000 and the sheriff’s office is working with Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation’s Oil Field Theft Unit on the thefts.
Anyone having information that will lead to the arrest or prosecution of suspects in these crimes, or any other, is urged to call Crime Stoppers at (580) 233-6233. Callers may remain anonymous and will not be required to testify.
