ENID, Okla. —
Donna Nightengale was named 2012 Billings Citizen of the Year at the annual chamber awards dinner Jan. 26.
She was named by her brother, Ricky Hartz, Billings Community Chamber of Commerce president.
Nightengale was selected by an independent group of voters from the Perry area.
Her resume was chosen for her work within the community as a chamber committee member, 4-H leader, school board member and church leader.
Nightengale has lived in Billings her whole life. She graduated from Billings High School in 1977 and Oklahoma State University in 1981. She has worked for OSU as an internal auditor for many years.
Other nominees for the honor were Wesley and Eileen Learned and Ricky Reaves.
