Enid teen allegedly rapes 8-year-old girl

ENID — A 17-year-old Enid boy has been charged as a youthful offender for allegedly raping an 8-year-old girl.

Skyler Ike Rude, 17, is facing one felony count of first-degree rape, one felony count of forcible sodomy and one felony count of lewd molestation after Enid Police Department officers responded to St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center emergency room Dec. 6 in reference to a sex offense.

According to an affidavit filed in Garfield County District Court, police interviewed the girl, who showed them through various diagrams what had happened.

According to the affidavit, the girl said Rude had done this before, but she couldn’t remember the date. When asked about the most recent date it had occurred, the girl said it was Dec. 2.

According to the affidavit, nurses at St. Mary’s located a bruise on the girl’s right hip, a second larger bruise on the right hip below the first bruise and laceration to her genital area.

According to the affidavit, after police interviewed the girl, they interviewed Rude at the police department. He told police he knew why he was there, according to the affidavit, and said he had molested the girl.

According to the affidavit, Rude told her he was sorry and told her not to tell anyone about what had happened. He also told police about a week before this incident he touched her genitals, according to the affidavit.

According to the affidavit, police asked Rude if anything similar had happened with anyone else, and he said he previously had touched a 12-year-old girl’s genitals on the outside of her clothes.

According to court records, Rude’s bond was set at $100,000 Thursday by Judge Paul Woodward. He is scheduled for a bond appearance at 1:15 p.m. Jan. 10.
