The Commons Methodist Home is the new home for a class of Enid Public Schools 4-year-olds, and visitors will get a first peek at the arrangement Monday.
Local business professionals, residents of The Commons and their family members are invited to the open house and Greater Enid Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting, which will be 2 p.m. Monday at the east cafeteria entrance of The Commons.
The “intergenerational” 4-year-old classroom at The Commons has come from a collaboration between The Commons, Smart Start Northwest Oklahoma/CDSA and Enid Public Schools. Special funding was received from Inasmuch Foundation.
The Commons Methodist Home is located at 301 S. Oakwood.
