Blood donors will receive two free tickets to the Oklahoma City Zoo and free health screenings by donating blood Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
Oklahoma Blood Institute blood drives are:
¥ 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday in the bloodmobile at Wal-Mart, 5505 W. Garriott. For information or to make an appointment, call Diane Macy at 237-7963.
¥ Noon to 4 p.m. Thursday in the bloodmobile at Methodist Home of Enid, 301 S. Oakwood. For information or to make an appointment, call Christy Slavin at 237-6164.
¥ Noon to 5 p.m. Friday at Atwood Distributing, 500 S. Garland. For information or to make an appointment, call Marty Lavicky at 233-3700.
¥ 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 8 at Jumbo Foods, 2311 W. Willow. For information or to make an appointment, call Teri Holston at 234-8086.
All donors will have the opportunity to support the Global Blood Fund by forgoing a donor T-shirt. The fund helps blood centers in developing countries purchase supplies and technology necessary to ensure a safe, local blood supply.
