Garfield County Genealogists Inc. will meet at 1:30 p.m. May 14 at Central Christian Church, 1111 W. Broadway, Room 109 (south entrance on Maine Street).
Featured speaker is Debra Osborne Spindle, PHD, MLIS research division librarian, Oklahoma Historical Society, will speak on “finding the girls.” Since she had family in the Goltry area before statehood, she has local ties and interests.
The theme for the display table will be “Who are the girls in your family?” Members are encouraged to bring photos, stories or other memorabilia to put on display. Visitors are welcome.
