Cherokee Strip Piecemakers Quilt Guild will meet Jan. 21 at Central Christian Church, 1111 W. Broadway.
The meeting will feature Marilyn Karper, of Oklahoma City, who will present “What to Look For in a Longarm Quilter.” Her program will reveal the qualities and talents of a longarm quilter.
Karper owns a full-service quilting studio in Oklahoma City. In addition to winning best machine quilting at the Central Oklahoma Quilt Guild shows in 2003 and 2007, Karper has won ribbons at the National Longarm show in Duluth and judge’s choice in the Edmond Guild Quilt Show. She teaches quilting and piecing classes.
Hospitality time begins at 6 p.m. followed by a short business meeting. CSPQG welcomes visitors of all skill levels.
