A Woodward man was injured Monday in a two-vehicle accident in Kingfisher County.
Dustin Scott Harmon, 25, was flown to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City. He was admitted in critical condition with leg, head, arm and trunk injuries, according to an Oklahoma Highway Patrol report.
The accident happened at 8:20 a.m. two miles east of the Blaine-Kingfisher county line on Oklahoma 33.
According to the report, Harmon was driving a 2004 Pontiac GTO westbound on the highway, as was a 2007 Kenworth tractor-trailer driving by Matthew Franklin Jones, 26, of Sedgwick, Kan. Harmon did not notice Jones attempting to turn and ran into the trailer, according to the report.
Harmon was not wearing a seat belt, while Jones was, according to the report. The cause of the accident was listed as inattention.
