First Baptist Church of Covington has decided to do something a little different for 5th Sunday Sing to be held Jan. 29. A soup and chili supper will be served starting at 6 p.m. prior to the Sing, which begins at 7.
Everyone is welcome to all events.
Phillip Gregg will be ordained at 3 p.m. today at First Baptist Church of Covington. A reception will follow.
Gregg attended Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary of Kansas City, graduating with a master of divinity degree. He accepted the call to First Baptist Church and assumed duties as pastor on Jan. 1. Everyone is welcome to the service.
