ENID — An Enid man still is missing after leaving for church Sunday morning.
Edward Sutter, 88, of the 7800 block of West Chestnut, was reported missing Sunday evening when he did not return home from the trip to church.
According to a Silver Alert from Garfield County Sheriff’s Office, Sutter’s last contact was 9:30 a.m. Sunday before leaving his residence for First United Methodist Church in Enid.
Undersheriff Jerry Niles said deputies were following up on some leads but had not located the missing man.
Sutter was last seen driving a gray 2003 Toyota Avalon, Oklahoma license plate number 722GPD, according to a report from the sheriff’s office.
Niles said seven deputies were conducting a grid search of the western side of Garfield County but did not locate Sutter.
Anyone with knowledge of Sutter’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Garfield County Sheriff’s Office at 237-0240.
