ENID, Okla. —
AAA Oklahoma will offer its free Tipsy Tow service to Oklahomans who’ve celebrated the St. Patrick’s Day too enthusiastically to safely drive home.
The service, which is free to AAA members and non-members, is available from noon Sunday to 4 p.m. Monday. The service is available in Enid, Ardmore, Lawton, Muskogee, Oklahoma City, Shawnee and Tulsa.
AAA Oklahoma will give you and your vehicle a safe, free ride home, spokesman Chuck Mai said.
“Too many times, we hear of Oklahomans getting into trouble when they attempt to drive after drinking,” he said. “Over the holidays, up to 40 percent of all fatal crashes involved alcohol. We know holiday partiers are going to drink. This way, motorists and their vehicles get home in one piece.”
To access AAA’s Tipsy Tow Service call (800) 222-4357 and ask for Tipsy Tow. The service offers a free ride home within a 15-mile radius from the point of pickup, anytime during the 16-hour period.
