ENID, Okla. —
A committee of JWL members reviews grant requests and makes recommendations to the board of directors for grants that support local groups. Organizations that meet the Junior Welfare League of Enid grant guidelines are invited to apply. Applications are available at Return Engagement, 201 W. Garriott, or online at www.jwlenid.com. The deadline to submit applications is Oct. 26.
Guidelines are:
• An organization supports the Junior Welfare League of Enid’s mission: “JWL is a charitable organization of women committed to promoting volunteerism and improving our community through action, education and leadership of our members.”
• The grant must be used for the benefit of the Enid community.
• Requests will not be considered for fundraising drives, building fund/capital campaigns, mileage reimbursement, travel expenses, an individual’s scholarship, an individual’s research project, salaries or budgets.
Applicants should include completed application form, organizational summary and budget or a brief description of expenses.
Organizations interested in applying should submit an application to Junior Welfare League of Enid, Attention: Disbursement Chair, 201 W. Garriott, Enid, OK 73701.
