ENID —
Enid Public Schools board of education will hold its regular board meeting at 6:30 p.m. this evening.
Other than routine agenda the board will vote to approve or disapprove several items including:
• Authorization of EPS to participate in the 2010-2011 E-Rate program.
• Granting a waiver from EPS high school graduation requirements for a transfer student who was on track to graduate from Waterville High School in Washington.
• Granting a waiver from the “board building use” policy for the Oklahoma Arts Institute’s Quartz Mountain tryouts held at Enid High School.
• Using the fiscal year 2010 Coca-Cola exclusive use commission to purchase new mats for Enid High’s wrestling team.
• Allowing DECA students and their advisor to attend and participate in the International Conference in Louisville, Ky., in April and continue their fundraising activities.
• Several revisions to information technology related board policies, regulations and forms.
• Updated EPS district technology plan.
• Report of the independent audit of financial transactions for fiscal year 2009.
• A consulting license agreement with Project SEARCH.
• A resolution determining the maturities of and setting a date, time and place for the sale of the $5,150,000 general obligation building bonds, series B, of the school district.
The board will vote to approve or disapprove the employments of Carolyn Peters, Jennifer Yape, Kristen Tefft, Citlalli Ceullar, Cathy Ford, Sheila Franklin, Mary Reiss and Heather Turner.
