bazaar, dinner on Nov. 16
Immanuel Lutheran Church of Garber will host its 30th annual Turkey Dinner and Bazaar Nov. 16.
The bazaar begins at 9 a.m. and dinner is served 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Carry-out meals are available. Rada kitchen utensils will be on display.
Enid Square Dance Club
holding event Sunday
Enid Square Dance Club will hold a dance 2-4 p.m. Sunday at the Old Santa Fe Depot, 202 W. Walnut.
Larry McClain will be the caller. No experience is required.
All that is required is to bring a dance partner, friends and relatives. Children are welcome.
Pioneer-Pleasant Vale Lions Club
chili and soup supper Saturday
Pioneer-Pleasant Vale Lions Club will host a chili and soup supper 5-7 p.m. Saturday at Grace Place, located at South Cleveland and Indian Drive, south of Hobby Lobby.
A donation of $5 a person will include corn bread, dessert and beverage.
The Lions actively are involved with sight preservation, and some of the proceeds will be used to purchase eyeglasses for students.
They also are involved with the Pioneer-Pleasant Vale School District, providing scholarships and community support for the schools, teachers and students.
