Gun Hunters Safety School will be 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at Waukomis Elementary School cafeteria, 3rd and Locust.

The event is free to the public. Those completing the course can gain certification needed for hunting license requirements, said Tim Vanover, Waukomis FFA adviser.

The daylong event is being sponsored by Waukomis, Drummond and Chisholm FFA chapters.

A light lunch of hot dogs, chips, cookies and a drink will be served.

Registration is not required. For information, call Vanover at 758-1508.
