ENID — Inter-Racial Women’s Club of Enid annually awards a scholarship to a black student who has an Enid address and is graduating from or has a high school equivalency certificate. The deadline to submit an application for the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. College Grant Application is March 31.
Applications are available from the school guidance office or from Inter-Racial Women’s Club President, Lanita Robinson 278-1461.
The grant is good for any college or university, public or private. The grant may be renewed each year for four years if the student meets the requirements. A total of $4,000 is awarded.
