Kaufman should resign his seat on city commission

Lloyd Kaufman, Ward 4 Commissioner, should resign his seat. Elected officials must be strong leaders and positive examples of the community. Those who represent our city must be held to a higher standard. Mr. Kaufman's actions regarding the trash in his yard do not reflect the actions or character of an elected official. First, he violated the law by allowing the trash to sit in his yard. Then he disposes of the trash in someone else's yard. How can he represent the City of Enid and break its own laws?

His poor judgment regarding his home and yard should make Enid citizens question his judgment on city matters, such as union representation for city workers.

Does Mr. Kaufman display what is best for Enid? I find it ironic that Mr. Kaufman wants to recall three of our commissioners and our mayor when he is not himself a law abiding citizen. Do not waste time or money on a recall for Mr. Kaufman. He should just resign.
