Wheatheart Nutrition Project serves a hot noon meal Monday through Thursday. Meal sites are Southern Heights, 5th and Wabash, and Open Door Community Center, 125 S. Main, Waukomis.
Monday: Ham and beans, tomato relish, spinach, cornbread, cookie.
Tuesday: Beef and noodles, carrots, cabbage, whole wheat roll, cake.
Wednesday: Baked potato with chili and cheese, fresh veggie medley in entrée, crackers, peaches.
Thursday: Pig-in-a-blanket, pineapple cole slaw, potato salad in entrée, brownie.
Menus are subject to change. Calls can be made the day before: Southern Heights, 234-6893 or Waukomis, 758-3052.
Tri County
Tri County Senior Center of Covington serves a hot meal each weekday. Call (580) 864-7843 for more information.
Monday: Tuna casserole, vegetable, salad, dessert.
Tuesday: Opened face pork sandwich, potatoes, vegetable, salad, dessert.
Wednesday: Swiss steak, potatoes, vegetable, salad, dessert.
Thursday: Ham and beans, cornbread, coleslaw, dessert.
Friday: smothered pork chops, potatoes, vegetable, salad, dessert.
