Wheatheart Nutrition Project serves a hot noon meal Monday through Thursday. Meal sites are Southern Heights, 5th and Wabash, and Open Door Community Center, 125 S. Main, Waukomis.
Monday: Chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes with gravy, mixed vegetables, whole wheat roll, pudding.
Tuesday: Taco soup, tossed salad and tomatoes with dressing, in entrée, tortilla chips, ice cream.
Wednesday: Sliced ham, sweet potatoes, winter mix, oatmeal roll, chilled fruit.
Thursday: Spaghetti with meat sauce, green beans, in entrée, French bread, double orange Jell-O.
