Menus for 11/23/09

Wheatheart

Wheatheart Nutrition Project serves a hot noon meal Monday through Thursday. Meal sites are Southern Heights, 5th and Wabash, and Open Door Community Center, 125 S. Main, Waukomis.

Monday: Chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes with gravy, mixed vegetables, whole wheat roll, pudding.

Tuesday: Taco soup, tossed salad and tomatoes with dressing, in entrée, tortilla chips, ice cream.

Wednesday: Sliced ham, sweet potatoes, winter mix, oatmeal roll, chilled fruit.

Thursday: Spaghetti with meat sauce, green beans, in entrée, French bread, double orange Jell-O.

Tri County Senior Center of Covington serves a hot meal each weekday. Call (580) 864-7843 for more information.

Monday: Beef and noodles, potatoes, vegetable, salad, dessert.

Tuesday: Scrambled eggs and ham steak, potatoes, vegetable, salad, dessert.

Wednesday: Meatloaf, potatoes, vegetable, salad, dessert.

Thursday and Friday: Closed
