Roggow, 89
Erwin Roggow will celebrate his 89th birthday with a reception for family and friends at 6:30 p.m. Sunday at Breckinridge Community Center. Cards may be sent to G207, 5801 N. Oakwood Road, Enid, OK 73703.
He was born Nov. 19, 1920, on the family farm north of Breckinridge the son of Reinhard and Ella Roggow.
He married Mabel Nichols May 26, 1946. They made their home on a farm near Breckinridge. They had been married 35 years at her death in November 1981.
He married Lorene Sebranek Sept. 10, 1983. She died in December 2006, after 23 years.
He was a farmer and worked for Garfield County District II, retiring in 1983. He is veteran of World War II. He is a lifelong member of Immanual Lutheran Church of Breckinridge, Oklahoma Polka Club, Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion. He is a volunteer with RSVP and St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center.
His children are Linda and John Bolte of Breckinridge; Carol Ann and Chuck Bourbina of Willard, Mo.; and Mark and Debby Roggow of Breckinridge. His stepchildren are Judy and Richard Boyce, Enid. He has five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
