Menus for 11/2/09

Wheatheart

Wheatheart Nutrition Project serves a hot noon meal Monday through Thursday. Meal sites are Southern Heights, 5th and Wabash, and Open Door Community Center, 125 S. Main, Waukomis.

Monday: Chicken strips, mashed potatoes and gravy, peas, whole wheat roll and cherry fluff.

Tuesday: Swedish meatballs, rice, broccoli, oatmeal roll and cookie.

Wednesday: Chili with beans, corn, Mexican coleslaw, crackers and cinammon roll.

Thursday: Lasagna, green beans, tossed salad, garlic breadsticks and sunrise Jell-O.

Friday: Meals no longer served on this day.

Tri County Senior Center of Covington serves a hot meal each weekday. Call (580) 864-7843 for more information.

Monday: Polish sausage and kraut, potatoes, vegetable, salad and dessert.

Tuesday: Stew, cornbread, vegetable, salad and dessert.

Wednesday: Goulash, vegetable, salad and dessert.

Thursday: Ham and beans, cornbread, vegetable, salad and dessert.

Friday: Meatloaf, potatoes, vegetable, salad and dessert.
