Mrs. Lee Ethel Carr will celebrate her 103rd birthday with a dinner for family and friends at 6 p.m. today at Western Sizzlin. Cards may be sent to P.O. Box 1251, Enid, OK 73702.
She was born Oct. 13, 1906, in Eudora, Ark., the daughter of John and Alice Smith.
She attended school through the eighth grade. She was a cook for Helen Oven for 40 years.
She is a member of Progressive Missionary Baptist Church.
Her children are Herman and Martha Carr, Denver; the late Wille D. Carr; and the late Chester Lee Carr. She has 10 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
