Helen Tefft will celebrate her 80th birthday with family today. Cards may be sent to 2902 Mount Vernon, Enid, OK 73703.

She was born Oct. 3, 1929, in Enid, the daughter of Walter and Lucille Hardy. She graduated from Kremlin High School in 1947.

She married LeRayne Tefft July 29, 1948.

She graduated from Pavlick Beauty Academy in 1950. She worked in the school cafeterias at North Enid, Chisholm and Pioneer-Pleasant Vale for many years before retiring.

She is a member of Bethany United Methodist Church.

Her children are Becky and Wayne Schoeling and Gail and Steve Schovanec, all of Hunter; Eldon and Colette Teft, Lamont; Kay and Wes Hurlbutt, North Enid; and Jackie and Kevin Sumner, Bremerton, Wash.

She has 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
