Wheatheart Nutrition Project serves a hot noon meal each weekday. Meal sites are Southern Heights, 5th and Wabash, and Open Door Community Center, 125 S. Main, Waukomis.
Monday: Barbecue chicken, mashed potatoes with gravy, peas and carrots, whole wheat roll.
Tuesday: Pig-in-blanket, sauerkraut, snaps and beans, chilled fruit.
Wednesday: Spaghetti with meat sauce, tossed salad with tomatoes, green beans, garlic bread, tropical fruit.
Thursday: Frito chili pie, carrots, broccoli, corn chips, sherbet.
Friday: Sausage patty, hashbrown casserole, half an orange, biscuit.
