Byrne resigns from United Way

Enid News and Eagle

ENID, Okla. — Sean Byrne, executive director of the United Way of Enid and Northwest Oklahoma, will resign his position.

Byrne was named United Way director in April 2009 to succeed Allan McCobb, who retired after 19 years at the helm.

Prior to that, Byrne had been assistant director of Youth and Family Services of North Central Oklahoma, a post he had held since February 2008, and before then executive director of PreventionWorkz.
