Hunt Family Bluegrass performs Sunday
Hunt Family Bluegrass will minister at 7 p.m. Sunday at Garber Christian Church.
They won the Oklahoma International Bluegrass Festival in 2005 and the “Youth in Bluegrass” band contest at Silver Dollar City in 2006. They placed 10th out of 30 at the SPBGMA International Band Competition in Nashville in 2008.
Finger foods will be served in the fellowship hall following the performance. A love offering will be taken.
Stamps to host ‘A Family Affair’
Rodney Stamps will present “A Family Affair” at 6 p.m. Dec. 13 at First Missionary Baptist Church, 5th and Garriott, with Rodney Stamps, Roslyn Carr, Rose Stamps, Mike Fleece, Herbaline Bastas, Gaylord Willis, Vicky Baldwin, Angelic Voices, CeCe Baldwin, Demesha Washington and Lubertha Johnson. Cost is $7 for adults in advance or $10 at the door and $5 for youth.
Presbyterian women’s luncheon set for Wednesday
First Presbyterian Church is having the annual Women’s Christmas Luncheon at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the home of Cindy Benge, 11 Woodlands. All Presbyterian women are invited to attend. Call 237-5413 to reserve a seat no later than Monday.
