Burning Clown Productions, Inc. (BC Pro, Inc.) is planning a Halloween Ball 3-9 p.m. Oct. 31 at Cherokee Strip Conference Center.
The event is to help celebrate the completion of BC Pro, Inc.’s third motion picture, “Dark Mister.”
“Dark Mister” is a psycho suspense tale of a struggle with addiction, wrapped in a dark supernatural shell. A small town detective, Kevin Hardison, tries to save a man named Liam from self-destruction until he comes face to face with Dark Mister. From there, a battle for Liam’s life begins.
The film stars local actors Monte Hunter as Liam and Debbie McAllister as psychologist Melissa Chapman. Both Hunter and McAllister recently returned to Oklahoma from Los Angeles. In the lead role of Kevin is Officer Jed Fox from Lawton. This will mark Fox’s movie debut.
The movie contains no nudity or sexual situations but does have mild language and some violence.
To draw attention to “Dark Mister,” BC Pro, Inc. plans to host a ball with a nightmare nursery theme. It will feature two screenings of the movie — one at 3 p.m. and a formal showing at 8 p.m. — with food, prizes, a costume contest and more.
Tickets are available online at www.burningclownproductions.com for $10 or at the door for $15. Call 747-1696 for information. A portion of the event’s ticket sales will benefit organizations such as Big Brothers Big Sisters.
Burning Clown Productions, Inc. is based in Enid. It is owned and operated by Christopher Sneed and Claud Reese.
