ENID — ‘The Nutcracker’

2 and 7 p.m. Saturday

Briggs Auditorium, NOC Enid

Get out to Briggs Auditorium on the Northern Oklahoma College Enid campus on Saturday for a performance of the famous Christmastime play “The Nutcracker.” Dance Works of Enid is putting on the play, which will have two separate performances at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. The performances are sponsored by Security National Bank and StarTek. Tickets are available and can be purchased at Enid Convention & Visitors Bureau, 123 E. Maine, 233-3643, or The Dancer’s Nook, 209 N. Washington, 242-2622.

Then come out to Chisholm Trail Expo Center this weekend for the seventh annual Home for the Holidays Home & Garden and Gift & Craft Show. There will be more than 250 vendors. Find more gift ideas for your family at Santa’s Showcase Christmas Show Saturday at the Hoover Building at Garfield County Fairgrounds.

This year’s show includes vendors from Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas and Louisiana. All sorts of gifts will be available, including dolls, jewelry, toys, blankets and antiques.

Concessions also will be available, including stew, sandwiches, pies and cakes.
