Dowell-Patterson
Lacie Brianna Dowell and Matthew Edward Patterson will marry in the fall of 2010 at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary, New Orleans. Robert Normand will officiate.
Parents of the couple are Cmdr. Deryl R. and Sally Dowell, Mannford, and Dr. John and Jane Patterson, Kenner, La. Grandparents are Della Raye Dowell, Hunter, and the late Troy D. Dowell; the late June D. Williams; the late Otha and Jennie Patterson; and the late Albert and Effie Johnson.
Dowell is a 2001 graduate of the University of North Florida with a bachelor of business administration degree in international business. She works at DHL Global Forwarding in Atlanta.
Patterson is a 2000 graduate of Louisiana State University with a bachelor of science degree in biology, 2002 graduate of Tulane University with a master of science degree in pharmacology and 2007 graduate of Tulane University with a doctorate degree. He is a resident in anesthesiology at Emory University in Atlanta.
