Kalei Nicole Nixon and Cody Carl Creswell will marry at 6 p.m. Sept. 8, 2012, at the Island Guest Ranch in Ames.
Parents of the couple are Paula and Jeff Franks, Cherokee; Bret and Jenny Nixon, Freedom; and Brent and Teresa Creswell, Perryton. Grandparents are Billy Ruth Girty, Cherokee, and the late Paul Girty; Connie “C.R.” and Tana Nixon, Freedom; Pat Cudd, Waka, Texas, and the late Charles Cudd; and Josie Creswell, Perryton, Texas, and the late Carl Creswell.
Nixon is a graduate of Cherokee High School. She attended Northwest Technology Center and graduated from Enid Beauty College. She works at MidFirst Bank of Weatherford and is using her cosmetology license on the side.
Creswell is a graduate of Perryton High School. He attended Wayland Baptist University and Western Oklahoma State College. He works at Enogex.
