Clardy-Buckminster

ENID, Okla. — Ally Megan Clardy and Tyler Gene Buckminster will marry at 5 p.m. Oct. 5, 2012, at Carillon Beach, Fla. Pastor Toby Slough will officiate.

Parents of the couple are Dean and Tanya Clardy, Argyle, Texas, and Mitch and Pam Buckminster, Enid. Grandparents are Bonnie and Rodney Barthold, Krum, Texas; Jim and Joanna Clardy, Austin, Texas; the late M.W. “Griff” and Ruth Griffin; Jody Buckminster, Kingfisher, and the late Dean Buckminster; and Gene and Shirley Rickabaugh, Enid.

Clardy is a 2006 graduate of Argyle High School. She spent the next four years as a member of the Oklahoma State Cowgirl Basketball team (2006-2010). She is a 2010 graduate of Oklahoma State University with an undergraduate degree in education and a minor in general business. She graduated in 2012 with a master’s of science degree in health and human performance, applied exercise science. She spent the past two years as a volleyball and basketball coach at Stillwater High School. She plans to relocate to Texas to pursue her career.

Buckminster is a 2003 graduate of Enid High School and a 2005 graduate of Northern Oklahoma College with an associate degree in science. He is a 2008 graduate of Oklahoma State University with an undergraduate degree and a 2011 graduate of OSU with a master’s of science in health and human performance, applied exercise science. He is the strength and conditioning coach with the Pittsburgh Pirates Baseball Organization.
