    Memorial service for Kenneth “Ken” Payne, 55, of Enid, will be 3:30 p.m. Thursday, May 16, 2013, at Brown-Cummings Funeral Home Chapel, with his Uncle Ted Black officiating. He was cremated, upon his request, under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home. Military Honors will be conducted by the United States Marine Corps.
    He was born Oct. 29, 1957, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Barion Wright and Ada Marie Smith Payne and passed away Saturday, May 11, 2013, in Enid.
    He attended school in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, graduating from Trinity High school.
    Growing up he was involved with the Catholic faith, serving as an altar boy at St. Patrick’s Cathedral in Fort Worth.
    He served in the Marine Corps from 1977 to 1981, stationed in Hawaii on a navy ship.
    He married Suzanna “Sue” Phares in 1984, in Granbury, Texas.

    Funeral service for June LaDonna Barnes, 65, of Enid, will be 2 p.m. Thursday, May 16, 2013, at Westside Church of God in Christ, with Supt. D.L. Norwood officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
    June was born Dec. 16, 1947, in Enid to Aubrey and Estelle Rich Swan and passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2013, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center.
    She grew up in Enid and graduated from Enid High School in 1966. She attended Langston University for two years.
    June married Rudolph Barnes Nov. 3, 1975, in San Antonio, Texas.

    A private memorial service for Teddy Clepper, 72, will be held at a later date.  Cremation arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home & Crematory.
    Teddy was born to Arlo and Evangeline (Dotson) Clepper on May 7, 1941, in Driftwood, Okla., and passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2013, in Enid.
    Teddy attended school in Enid.
    He joined the National Guard in 1956, then served in the United States Army.
    Teddy was a truck driver until his retirement. He loved to shoot pool and competed locally.

    Funeral service for Terry Craig Hawkins, 52-year-old former Enid resident, will be 10 a.m. today, May 15, 2013, at Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Kevin Choate will officiate. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
    Terry was born Jan. 20, 1961, in Enid to Jesse and Connie (Bishop) Hawkins and died Saturday, May 11, 2013, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center.
    He attended local schools and graduated from Enid High School with the class of 1979. He also attended the Autry Vo-Tech welding program.
    He worked with the George E. Failing Co. for nine years as a welder and owned and operated Hawk’s Gun Shack.

    Graveside service for Betty Lee Wheat, 85, will be 11 a.m. Thursday, May 16, 2013, in Alva Municipal Cemetery. Arrangements by Marshall Funeral Home, Alva.
    Betty, daughter of Ralph and Marie Rhoades, was born Oct. 12, 1927, and passed away, Monday, May 13, 2013.
    Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, two sons, two brothers and two sisters-in-law.
