Funeral for Marjorie “Mardie” Stephenson, 91, of McPherson, Kan., will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 15, 2013, at Brenneman Funeral Home, Liberal, Kan. Burial in Liberal Cemetery, Liberal, Kan. Contact the funeral home at (620) 241-2550 for visitation times.
Marjorie was born July 28, 1921, in rural Hayne, Kan., to Nell (Harding) and George Henry Dettmer and died Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013, in McPherson, Kan.
Mardie married Jewel Franklin Stephenson Feb. 16, 1941, in Liberal. He died March 6, 1983.
Surviving are son, Stanley Stephenson; sister, Jan Walden; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and four stepgreat-grandchildren.
Preceded by one brother.
