Memorial service for Linda Fay Turner Banta, 65, of Enid, will be 2 p.m. today, Nov. 17, 2012, at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Pat Sutherland officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home .
She was a graduate of Ravia High School and Murray State College. She worked as a bookkeeper and real estate owner-broker in Oklahoma and later as an accounting manager in Texas, until illness forced her early retirement.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her stepmother, Gwendolyn Katherine Smith; sister, Katherine Litschke and husband Larry; ex-husband, Harvey Turner; friend, Paul Sherman and family; two daughters, Paula Gordon and fiancé Paul Martin, and Betty Garcia; five grandchildren, Larry, Taylor, Chuy, Adrian and Naomi; two stepgrandchildren, Katie and Landon; three nieces and three nephews; as well as many friends she loved as family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Lucreta Lynam; brother, Billy Smith; stepbrother, Kenneth Moss; and one niece.
