ENID — Funeral service for Beverly A. McGugin, 63, will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 17, 2011, at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Don Tines will officiate. Burial will be in Enid Cemetery. The casket will be open until noon on Saturday.

Beverly was born April 17, 1948, in Enid, Okla., to Clarence M. and Vela Robbins McGugin and died Saturday, Dec. 10, 2011, at OU Medical Center Presbyterian Tower, Oklahoma City, Okla., after a lengthy illness.

She graduated from Enid High School in 1966 and attended the University of Arkansas for two years.

She came back to Enid and worked for Security National Bank and then moved to Houston, Texas, in 1971.

She moved to Oklahoma City in 1986 and worked at Universal Health Services as a mental health technician.

She is survived by her mother, Vela McGugin of Enid, Okla.; brother, Pat McGugin and life partner Fran Rauch of Enid, Okla.; Beverly’s life partner, Margaret Wettengel of Oklahoma City, Okla.; two nephews, Tim McGugin of Little Rock, Ark., and Todd McGugin of Enid, Okla.; great-nephews and nieces and several other family members. She was preceded in death by her father.

Memorials may be made to Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, cancer division.
