ENID, Okla. —
Martha Lee Lesnett “Marty” was born Nov. 23, 1925, in Enid, Okla., to Dallas Earl and Alta Lee Wilson.
Martha attended school in Enid, Fay and Waukomis, Okla., and in Pasadena, Calif., and graduated from high school in Enid in 1943.
She met and married Howard Keith Lesnett in June 1946, while they were working for Southwestern Bell Telephone Co. in Enid, Okla. They had two children while living in Enid, a son, Steven Alan in 1948, and a daughter, Jo Allyson in 1951.
They lived in Enid, El Reno and Warr Acres until 1960, when they moved to Lompoc, Calif., where they lived for 30 years, except for 9 years, when they lived in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands.
In 1990, they moved to San Antonio, Texas, and in 1994, they moved to Watonga, Okla., to be near her sister, Rita Clewell.
Marty’s husband, Howard, preceded her in death in 1998, after 52 years of marriage.
She continued to live in Watonga, Okla., until May 2012, when her daughter took her to her home in Ventura, Calif., to care for her while in ill health, until her death at age 87 on March 15, 2013.
Martha was a full time mom until the move to California, when she began working in retail sales at J.C. Penney’s, and then as manager at Remar’s Women’s Apparel in Lompoc and at Chalet D’Or Jewelers in St. Thomas, USVI. In 1980, she opened her own shop, Marty’s Needlecrafts, and retired in 1986.
Martha is survived by her son, Steve and wife Lori of Glenrose, Texas; daughter, Jo Allyson and husband Robert Wilmoth of Ventura, Calif.; grandchildren, Toni Rae and husband Jeff Moore, and Steve Jr. in Texas; great-grandchildren, Faron and Grady in Texas; sister, Rita Clewell and husband Clemon of Watonga, Okla.
Funeral service will be at the Methodist Church in Watonga, Okla., on Saturday, March 23, 2013, at 10 a.m. Wilkinson Mortuary assisted the family with funeral arrangements in Watonga, Okla.

Floyd 'Ty' Lytle II
A memorial service for Floyd “Ty” Wayne Lytle II, age 53, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 25, 2013, at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Addison (JR) Ools officiating.
Ty was born to Kenneth Wayne and Mary Bess (Spencer) Lytle on May 22, 1960, in North Kansas City, Mo., and died Wednesday, May 22, 2013, at his home in Enid. -
Douglas Lloyd Champlin
Douglas Lloyd Champlin of Gardnerville, Nev., died peacefully on Monday, May 20, 2013, in Scottsdale, Ariz., after a brief illness of cancer. He was born Jan. 9, 1941, in Enid, Okla., to Joe Noble and Jane Edwards Champlin.
He is survived by his wife, Laurel Raether Champlin; daughter, Christa Hampton and husband Cobey of Cave Creek, Ariz.; daughter, Claire Woolsey and husband Cole of Reno, Nev., and Cassidy Champlin of the home; six grandchildren; sister, Joanna M. Champlin and husband Shawnee Brittan of Oklahoma City, Okla.; and many nieces, nephews and beloved friends all over the world.
Doug was preceded in death by his parents and beloved brother, H.H. “Bud” Champlin, formerly of Enid, Okla.
As a young boy growing up in Enid, Okla., Doug developed a love for history and the military. He became a collector at a young age of toy soldiers, guns, and just about anything he could get his hands on related to history. -
Harold H. Jantzen
The graveside service for Harold H. Jantzen, 80-year-old Newton, Kan., resident will be 3 p.m. Friday, May 25, 2013, in the West New Hopedale cemetery under the direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home. The Rev James Suderman will officiate.
Harold was born Oct. 31, 1932, in Bessie, Okla., to Henry K. and Frieda (Froese) Jantzen and died Sunday, May 19, 2013 in Newton, Kan. After graduating high school he attended Grace Bible Intitute and the Bethel College. He then attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University, where he obtained his master’s degree. He then earned a specialist’s degree from Emporia College. -
James M. Dillard
Memorial service for James M. Dillard, 61, Pilot Oak, Ky., will be 3 p.m. Sunday, May 26, 2013, at Byrn Funeral Home Chapel, Mayfield, Ky. Abe Leonard will officiate.
James was born Sept. 5, 1951, in Fairview and died Wednesday, May 22, 2013, at home.
Surviving are two daughters, Margo (Chris) Kesinger of Tonkawa, and Francine (Sheldon) Wedel of Pilot Oak; one sister, Judy Dillard of Wichita, Kan.; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. -

Evie was born Oct. 24, 1940, in Mott, N.D., to Joe and Anna (Mayer) Miller and died May 21, 2013 in Enid.
She is survived by sons, Ivan, Sherlem, and Allan Zimbelman; daughters, Sharon Woods and Shelley Rauh; brothers, Harvey Miller and Dennis Miller; and one grandson, J.R. Zimbelman. -
