The graveside service for Betty L. Lechner, 79, of Harper, Kan., will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2010, in Harper Cemetery. Arrangements by Prairie Rose Funeral Home, Harper. Visitation is 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday.
She was born Dec. 27, 1930, in Winfield, Kan., to Louis and Lillie Bell Slane Hess and died Thursday, Sept. 2, 2010, in Conway Springs, Kan.
Surviving are daughters, Linda Cranford of Enid and Brenda Lechner of Harper, and four grandchildren.
Preceded by husband, Floyd, one brother and one grandson.
