Funeral service for Maxine Stauffer, 88, of Alva, will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2012, at Alva Church of God. Burial in Short Springs Cemetery. Arrangements by Wharton Funeral Chapel, Alva.
Maxine was born Feb. 2, 1924, near Alva to Edith (Crawford) and Charlie Ole and died Sunday, Oct. 14, 2012, at Beadles Nursing Home.
She married Orie Beryle Stauffer Aug. 25, 1946, in Alva.
Surviving are daughters, Donnette Stauffer and Jeannette Graves, both of Alva; son, Kim Stauffer of Ponca City; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by husband, Orie, two sons and one grandson.
