Enid, OK — The funeral for Floyd L. Gray, 75, of Enid, will be 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 30, 2009, at Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Tommy Donaldson will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
He was born Aug. 19, 1934, in Mooreland to Clarence and Edna Olds Gray and died Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2009, at Integris Bass Baptist Health Center.
He attended Mooreland schools and graduated from Mooreland High School in 1952. Following graduation he enlisted in the Army, serving four years. He then served in the Reserve.
Following his discharge he moved to Denver, where he was a bricklayer and worked as a pool cleaner. In the early 1970s he returned to Enid, where he farmed, worked on a pipeline and owned his own custodial service.
He married Michelle Stewart April 24, 2003. He was a longtime member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Michelle; two sons, Bucko of the home and Wade Gray of Holdenville; one daughter, Sandy Teets of Crestview, Fla.; two sisters, Jaunita Ar-thur of Yukon and Marquita Scott of Enid; one brother, Larry Gray of Edmond; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, pulminary fibrosis division, or Bethlehem Baptist Church.
