Enid, OK — The memorial service for Mickey Lee Smith, 65, will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 21, 2009, at World Harvest Church. The Rev. Brad Menden-hall will officiate. A private family burial will be held at a later date in Bison Cemetery. Cremation arrangements are by Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

He was born March 5, 1944, in Tampa, Fla., to George and Loretta Voleck Smith and died Saturday, Nov. 14, 2009, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center.

He was living on his own at age 13 in Colorado and Wyoming. He moved back to Oklahoma at age 18. He worked as a front end alignment man for T&W; Tire as well as Western Auto and Stevens Ford.

He married his long-time companion, Dorothy Durkee, April 18, 2008. At one time he ran the R/C track in Enid. He was a member of World Harvest Church.

Surviving are his wife, Dorothy, of the home; two daughters, Ladonna Rother-mel of Enid and Lisa Selvey of Waynoka; one son, David Durkee of Colorado; five brothers, Joe, Don and James Campbell, all of Enid, Scott Campbell of Missouri and Chuck Campbell of Kingsley, Kan.; two sisters, Dee Flick of Lewis, Kan., and Donna Smith of Stafford, Kan.; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one sister and two grandsons.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to World Harvest Church.
