Enid, OK — The funeral for Gary Lee Puls, 65, of Anthony, Kan., will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 21, 2009, at Anthony Christian Church, Anthony. Burial will be in Spring Grove Cemetery. Arrange-ments are by Prairie Rose Funeral Home, Anthony. Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
He was born July 1, 1944, in Harper, Kan., to Doris Fox and Mark Puls and died Thursday, Nov. 19, 2009, at Wesley Medical Center.
He was a 1962 graduate of Anthony High School.
He married Marilyn Simons Aug. 6, 1967. They made their home in Anthony. He started Puls Building and Supply in 1976. He worked in the community for more than 25 years, where he was an active member of Anthony Christian Church.
They moved to Wichita in July 2006, where they were involved in Westlink Christian Church and did community volunteer work.
Surviving are his wife, Marilyn, of Wichita; two daughters, Sherry Irsik of Wichita and Jan Jones of Lake Winnebago, Mo.; three brothers, Bill Puls of Enid, Robert Puls of Abilene, Texas, and Dennis Puls of Durango, Colo.; and four grandchildren.
