Enid, OK — The funeral for Mable L. Chase, 86, of Enid, will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 21, 2009, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness. Robert Fullerton will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrange-ments are by Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home.

She was born May 9, 1923, in Bristow to Frank and Lena Ireland Spoone-more and died Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2009, at her home.

She was raised and educated in Enid.

She married Newton R. Chase Jan. 18, 1938, in Enid. They lived briefly in Beaver before settling in Enid. She was a homemaker. She worked as a waitress and at Garfield Elementary School.

She was a longtime member of Kingdom Hall Jehovah’s Witness.

Surviving are one daughter, Carolyn Van Meter; one sister; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and 14 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, four brothers, four sisters, two grandsons and one great-grandson.
