Enid, OK — The memorial service for Dorothy “Lousie” Scott, 88, of Enid, will be 3 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2009, at Ladu-sau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Keith Miller will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Bartles-ville.

She was born Feb. 21, 1921, in Bristow to Oscar and Mary Grindle Amos and died Friday, Nov. 13, 2009, at her home.

She was raised and educated in Dewey.

She married Walter R. Scott Dec. 6, 1939, in Okmulgee. They had lived in England and all over the United States. Following retirement from the Air Force, they settled in Enid. She was a homemaker.

Surviving are two daughters, Stephanie DeClerck Oaks and Robyn Sroufe; one sister, Jean Mattox; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter, two sisters and one brother.
