The funeral for Van Foster Crabtree, 52, of Laverne, will be 4 p.m. today, Nov. 16, 2009, at First Christian Church, Laverne. Burial will be in Laverne Memorial Cemetery. Arrangements are by Myatt Funeral Home, Laverne. Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. today at the funeral home.
He was born Dec. 14, 1956, in Woodward to Clyde I. and Doralea Valfour Crabtree and died Friday, Nov. 13, 2009, at Northwest Texas Hospital, Amarillo, Texas.
He was raised and educated in Laverne and graduated from Booker High School.
He married Clarice Alineen King June 4, 1998, in Lipscomb, Texas. He worked in the oil field industry in Laverne and Gage.
Surviving are his wife, Clarice; three sons, Robert Luke Buller of Fort Benning, Ga., Mark William Buller of Ellington, Mo., and Matthew Roy Buller of Jacksonville, Ga.; one sister, Clydette Ann Creamer of Amarillo; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
